Using the lid to a tequila barrel found at a garage sale, Dot Julio is an homage to D.E.L.’s love of the distilled agave plant. And while there could be several social, political and even existential connections one might draw from the work, it’s almost better to just pour a glass of tequila and get lost in the pretty colors.
